Greatest movie heroes in history named: Empire

Readers of Empire magazine have chosen the greatest movie character in history. Report informs citing the Empire.

Archaeologist Indiana Jones led the rating. In a series of films played by American actor Harrison Ford.

The second most popular movie character was Ellen Ripley from “Alien” performed by Sigourney Weaver. “Iron Man” from the Marvel franchise closed the top three.

The top ten also included Captain America, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia from Star Wars, Batman, Superman, and Black Panther.

Earlier media reported that Lucasfilm studio would remove the continuation of a series about the adventures of Indiana Jones. In the fifth part, as in all previous ones, Harrison Ford, who is now 77 years old, plans to play the leading role.
