Baku. 18 February. REPORT.AZ/ Famous Poland film director Andrzej Żuławski has died.
Report informs, 76-years-old film director has died after long and serious illness.
Starting as an assistant to Polish film director Andrzej Wajda, after “The Devil”, 1971, was banned , Andrzej Żuławski went to France.
After the film being subject to criticism, famous film director forced to migrate to France. After long years of ban, 'The Devil' was demonstrated in 1988.
His methods yielded from actresses including Claus Cinski, Romy Schneider, Isabelle Adjani and some of the best performances of their careers.
A.Żuławski has won'Best Director of the Year' at 68 Locarno Film Festival in 2015.
