Export earnings of Azerbaijani cotton producer almost triples in early 2021

From January through February 2021, the Agro-Industrial Complex Azerpambig LLC, a subsidiary of the Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation OJSC, exported products worth $13.2 million, Report informs, citing the export review of the country’s Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication.
According to the review, this figure is $8.3 million, or 2.7 times higher than in the same period last year when it was $4.9 million.
Agro-Industrial Complex Azerpambig was established in 2018. The company owns 6 cotton processing plants (in Shirvan, Saatli, Aghjabadi, Beylagan, Barda, Bilasuvar districts), 6 facilities for the production and supply of cotton (in Sabirabad, Imishli, Salyan, Aghdam, Tartar, Goranboy districts).
