Azerbaijan's meat imports up by 17%

In January-May 2023, Azerbaijan imported 17,994 tons of meat for $33.159 million, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.

Compared to the period of 2022, meat imports increased by 2,654 tons or 17.3% in quantity and by $6.443 million or 24.1% in monetary terms.

Azerbaijan’s spending on imports of meat in the first five months of 2023 amounted to 0.5% of the country’s total import expenditures.
