Azerbaijan reduces tea imports, increases exports

In January-March this year, Azerbaijan imported 3,131 tons of tea worth $15.359 million, Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee.

This is 82 tons (2.5%) less in quantitative terms than in the same period last year, and $2.7 million (21.3%) more in value terms.

In January-March this year, Azerbaijan exported 354 tons of tea worth $2.166 million. This is 89 tons (33.5%) more than in the same period last year, and in value terms, the growth amounted to $147,000 (7.2%).
