Azerbaijan reduces milk import expenditure 

From January through October this year, Azerbaijan imported 8,361 tons of milk worth $11.271 million, Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee.

This is $2.142 million (15.9%) and 57 tons (0.68%) less than in the same period last year.

The expenditures on milk imports decreased by 16.5%.

In January-October 2020, Azerbaijan imported 8,304 tons of milk worth $13.413 million. Last year, the price of milk was $1,615 a ton, while this figure is $1,348.

Imports of milk for the reporting period accounted for 0.12% of total imports of Azerbaijan.
