Kyrgyzstan plans to allow entry into its territory only to tourists vaccinated against COVID-19, deputy director of the Tourism Department under the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy and Finance Kyyal Kenzhematova said, Report informs referring to RIA Novosti.
“With the beginning of the tourist season in Kyrgyzstan, the Tourism Department has developed an algorithm for the development of the industry during the coronavirus pandemic. It states that foreign travelers will be able to visit the country if they are vaccinated against COVID-19,” she said.
Kenzhematova noted that the country’s foreign ministry is considering this algorithm.
“Also, all tourists will have to comply with sanitary requirements for safety reasons,” the official said.
