Turkish Foreign Ministry: Syria sanctions should be lifted

Sanctions against Syria must be lifted, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Türkiye said in a statement, Report informs.
"Türkiye will continue to support a comprehensive and inclusive political process, which is the cornerstone of achieving security and stability in Syria," the ministry said.
The ministry emphasized that the formation of the government demonstrates the will to advance the political transition process in Syria. Official Ankara noted that it welcomed this decision with satisfaction.
Earlier, the interim president of Syria, Ahmed al-Sharaa, congratulated his people on the formation of a new Cabinet of Ministers.
