Tashkent to host OEC summit

The 16th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) will be held today in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, Report informs.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will chair the summit.
The heads of state and government of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Türkiye will participate in the event. They will discuss further expansion of commercial-economic, investment, transport-communication and humanitarian cooperation within the framework of the organization.
The OIC summit will end on November 9.
