Russian and Iranian FMs mull situation in Venezuela

Baku. 28 January. REPORT.AZ / Foreign Ministers of Russia and Iran Sergey Lavrov and Mohammad Javad Zarif have discussed the situation in Venezuela and issues of bilateral cooperation on the phone, Report informs citing the website of the Russian FM.
"Mutual readiness to promote bilateral understanding between the responsible political forces of Venezuela in the interests of ensuring internal peace, early solving of urgent social and economic problems were stressed during the conversation. The Ministers exchanged views on a number of topical issues of bilateral cooperation," the Foreign Ministry said.
It is noted that the conversation was held on the initiative of the Iranian side.
