Russia adds Telegram founder Durov to terrorist list

The founder of the Telegram messenger, Pavel Durov, has been included in the terrorist and extremist list of Russia's Rosfinmonitoring, Russia's main body for financial intelligence, Report informs via Russian media outlets.
Under legislation, banks are required to freeze the assets of individuals on this list and suspend their services.
Earlier, Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) announced that Durov was charged with assisting terrorist activity, alleging that Telegram's administration failed to remove channels and bots used to coordinate terrorist acts and sabotage operations in Russia. He has since been placed on international wanted lists.
