Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan considers attempts by citizens to evade military service to be one of the country’s security problems, Report informs referring to Sputnik Armenia.
He was speaking at a meeting in the Investigative Committee dedicated to the next anniversary of its formation.
“We perceive with great pain the existing problems in the field of security of the country. But look, in 2023, criminal cases are initiated in Armenia regarding exemption from military service for a bribe. Who is doing all this? Let’s fix it - people with the highest callings: doctors and servicemen,” he said.
Pashinyan considers attempts to evade the army a “red line”, beyond which the country’s problems begin.
