National Security Committee officer found dead in Nur-Sultan

Colonel of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan Azamat Ibrayev has been found dead in the city of Nur-Sultan, a pre-trial investigation is underway, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.
Mass protests in Kazakhstan began in the early days of 2022, when residents of the cities of Zhanaozen and Aktau in the west of the country opposed a twofold increase in prices for liquefied gas.
