Moldovan opposition politician Ilan Shor said that he recently received Russian citizenship, Report informs via TASS.
“I submitted documents. So, today I am also a citizen of the Russian Federation,” he said.
At the same time, he noted that he would not give up his Israeli passport. “Israel is my homeland, I was born there,” the politician said. He also noted that he does not reside permanently in Russia.
Earlier, the political party Shor was declared unconstitutional in Moldova.
