Iran starts vaccination with own jab

Iran has started vaccination of the population with a local COVID jab COVIran Barakat, Report informs referring to IRIB TV channel.
The channel notes that citizens are being vaccinated in the city of Mashhad, located in the east of the country. Soon, vaccinations will also take place in other settlements.
On June 9, Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabiei said that once the republic's health system gains access to Iranian vaccines, the country's vaccination program will expand dramatically.
