A crypto wallet was found that may have been used for financial interaction between the organizers and perpetrators of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.
Report informs via Russian media that the wallet address was reportedly posted on a Telegram channel associated with the Voice of Khorasan, which belongs to the Afghan wing of the Islamic State. Its administrator is a person with the nickname Mavlavi_56. Information about the wallet appeared on March 12, and it became active with a "test" transfer of $2.19 received on March 13.
March 22, the day of the terrorist attack, saw a peak of activity in the wallet with tokens totaling $2,525 caming in and going out almost immediately. The transactions were made in four transfers of $325, $550, $550, and $1,100, respectively.
The published footage of the interrogation of Faridun Shamsiddin, who was arrested on suspicion of a terrorist attack, made it clear that the criminals were promised a reward of half a million rubles for committing the crime, but only half was paid.
Searches were carried out yesterday at crypto exchangers in Moscow City business center, which, according to media reports, is associated with a terrorist attack.
The terrorist attack occurred on the evening of March 22. Armed men who burst into the Crocus City Hall complex opened fire on visitors and staff.
According to the latest data, 143 people died. The number of those who suffered increased to 551 people.
