Ankara receives first order for Turkish-made fighter jets

Turkiye received the first order from abroad for domestically produced fighter jets, Report informs, citing the Turkish Aerospace Industries company.

The company noted that negotiations are ongoing.

The name of the customer has not yet been announced.

According to the media, the first customers of Turkish-made fighters may be Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia and other friendly countries.

The first flight of Turkish national fighter jets will take place at the end of 2023.
