Russian diplomat summoned to Moldovan Foreign Ministry

A Russian diplomat was summoned to the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) after the Russian embassy announced its position on the energy crisis in Transnistria, MFA Spokesperson Tatiana Barac said in telegram, Report informs via TASS.

According to Barac, such statements by the Russian diplomatic mission negatively affect relations between Chisinau and Moscow.

After Russia suspended gas transit from Ukraine to Europe on January 1, the Transnistrian region of Moldova is experiencing an energy crisis.
