Qatar objects Assad's admission to the League of Arab States

Baku. 14 January. REPORT.AZ/ "Qatar still objects to Arab League membership for Syria," Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Report informs citing Turkish media.
“Since day one Qatar had reasons for which it supported suspending (Arab League) membership and those reasons are still there, so we do not see any encouraging factor."
Notably, Syria was removed from the League of Arab States in 2011.
Last week, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain announced that they reopened their embassies in Syria. Saudi Arabia also plans to start talks with Bashar al-Assad.
