The Polish government has granted permission for Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico's special flight to Russia, Slovak publication Pravda writes, citing the Polish embassy in Slovakia, Report informs.
"Slovakia has completed the formalization of the special flight carrying Prime Minister Robert Fico to Moscow, and Poland has granted permission for this," the embassy stated.
Earlier, Fico had mentioned that his plans to attend the Victory Parade in Moscow remained in force. He said he would go to Moscow with two students to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Other MPs from the National Council (parliament) and the European Parliament will also travel to Moscow. However, they will have a separate program.
Recently, Slovak media announced that Fico had canceled his program of business events in recent days, linking this to serious health problems that arose after an assassination attempt.
