North Korea fires several short-range missiles from fighter jets

North Korea launched multiple short-range cruise missiles into the sea between the Korean peninsula and Japan today, Report says, citing TASS.

The launches were made by North Korean air force fighters near the coastal city of Munchon at 07: 00 am. The missiles flew about 150 km and fell into the water.

"The military of the Republic of Korea maintains an increased level of readiness, continuing to monitor the situation and possible new missile launches," - South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement.
