More than 850 people detained amid protests in Venezuela

Baku. 29 January. REPORT.AZ/ More than 850 people have been detained in Venezuela, since the beginning of mass protests against the incumbent President Nicolas Maduro, Report informs citing Reuters.
It is also reported that the death toll during the protests currently stands at 40 people.
Only in January 23, a record number of protesters (696 people) in 20 years was detained.
Earlier it was reported that the US intends to deprive the Venezuelan government of the sources of income.
