Japan expands a ban on entry amid COVID-19 threat

Japan has denied entry to foreign citizens from another 18 countries in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, Report informs, citing the RIA Novosti.
The government added Georgia, Algeria, Cuba, Cameroon, and others to the original list. Foreign Ministry published the full list of the countries and territories on its website. At the beginning of the month, the Japanese foreign Ministry raised the "travel hazard" level for these 18 countries to the third, which implies a complete refusal to travel to the specified regions. In May, Japan banned Azerbaijani citizens from entering the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
