India, Saudi Arabia sign water resources cooperation memorandum

India and Saudi Arabia have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in water resources.
Report informs, citing the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, that the document was signed by Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Suhel Khan and Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Al-Fadley during Saudi Water Week in Jeddah.
The memorandum is aimed at developing bilateral cooperation, strengthening capacity and exchanging best practices in water resource planning, sustainable water resource management, irrigation systems and other related areas.
