US President Joe Biden has signed a decree imposing sanctions against Russia, Report informs referring to the press service of the White House.
In particular, the US is expelling 10 employees of the Russian diplomatic mission in Washington. In addition, the US prohibits its companies from directly purchasing Russian debt securities issued by the Central Bank, the Russian National Wealth Fund, or the Russian Ministry of Finance.
The US Treasury has imposed sanctions against 16 organizations and 16 individuals, allegedly associated with Russian-attributed interference in the US elections.
