218 people arrested in Venezuela protests

Baku. 24 January. REPORT.AZ / The number of people arrested during the protests in Venezuela has reached 218, human rights organization Foro Penal said in a statement.
Report informs citing RIA Novosti that, according to the organization, nine people were arrested on January 21, 34 people on January 22 and 175 people on January 23.
Notably, the speaker of Venezuelan parliament and opposition leader Juan Guido proclaimed himself the acting head of state during a rally in Caracas on Wednesday.
