Azerbaijan to create database of PPP projects

A database of public-private partnership (PPP) projects will be created in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the new bill, “On Public-Private Partnership.”

As noted in the bill, the competent authority is responsible for creating and operating an electronic database of reports on the PPP project, the conditions, and criteria for the selection of the competition winner, the main terms of the PPP agreement, the preparation and implementation of the PPP projects, as well as ongoing and completed projects within the framework of the PPP agreement.

The parties to the PPP agreement shall submit a copy of the agreement and the changes made to it together with the relevant documents to the competent authority within 7 working days after the conclusion of the agreement or changes to include it in the database provided for in Article 35.1 of the Law.
