Azerbaijani Defense Ministry refutes shelling Taghaverd

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has commented on reports that the Azerbaijani Army allegedly opened fire in the direction of Taghaverd village of Khojavand district.

The ministry told Report that the information disseminated by Armenians did not reflect the truth.

“The information spread on Armenian social networks about the alleged firing by the units of our Army in the direction of Taghaverd village of Khojavand district in the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, is false and provocative,” the Azerbaijani ministry said.
