Azerbaijani peacekeeper: "We have worthily fulfilled the task set in Afghanistan"

"We have ensured the evacuation of civilians at the airport," Azerbaijani peacekeeper Pashayev Seymur, who has returned home from Afghanistan, told Report.

"We have worthily fulfilled the task set in Afghanistan," he noted.

"We are ready to worthily fulfill the task set before us anytime. We are proud to be waving our flag every time and to be representing our state. I am proud to be serving the Azerbaijani Army. Our mission was to ensure the security at the Kabul International Airport. We served shoulder-to-shoulder with our Turkish brothers in Afghanistan," Seymur added.
