Wastewater treatment facilities planned for Karabakh, East Zangazur

Centralized wastewater treatment facilities will be constructed for all major settlements in Karabakh and East Zangazur, Ilham Guliyev, Deputy Head of the Regional Water Melioration Service under the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency (ASWRA), told Report.
According to him, the goal is to ensure proper management of wastewater:
"Modern facilities will be built in all large settlements where the population resides to treat sewage. In the future, treatment plants will be established in major residential areas, and wastewater will be purified before being discharged into rivers. In a short time, important projects related to water supply and reservoirs have already been implemented in Shusha, and infrastructure renewal will continue."
