Subaru automaker has decided to stop the work of three plants located in Gunma Prefecture in eastern Japan from June 2 to 3 due to a shortage of components, Report informs referring to TASS.

The shortage is partly due to the spread of coronavirus in China and the resulting logistical problems, according to Kyodo.

On March 24, the Toyota Motor concern announced the suspension of work on 16 assembly lines at ten factories in Japan due to a shortage of components.
