New Sumgayit Industrial Park resident to produce food packaging

A project to produce polystyrene food packaging trays of various sizes will be implemented by a new resident of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park.

Report was informed by the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan.

According to the agency, MET-AK LLC has been granted resident status in Sumgayit Industrial Park, which is managed by the agency.

The investment value of the project is 16.3 million manats ($9.59 million).

So far, resident status has been granted to 39 business entities with a total investment volume of more than 6.7 billion manats ($3.94 billion) in Sumgayit Industrial Park. Residents have invested more than 5.6 billion manats ($3.29 billion).
