Researchers at the University of Barcelona, Spain, and the University of Campinas in Brazil have concluded that the possibility of coronavirus infection is related to blood type, Report says, citing Izvestia.
Researchers studying the virus in 126 countries have revealed that COVID-19 is prevalent in the countries with the majority of people with a negative blood group (Rh-).
Such states include The United States, Australia, Austria, Great Britain, Brazil, Spain, Switzerland, and New Zealand.
Moreover, the fact that people with a negative blood type are more susceptible to other common immune diseases supports this hypothesis.
