The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 648.7 million on December 11, Report informs, citing Johns Hopkins University.
To date, 6.65 million people have died from COVID-related health complications.
Countries with more than 30 million infection cases include the United States, India, France, Brazil and Germany.
