Slovakia assumes OSCE presidency

Baku. 2 January. REPORT.AZ/ Slovakia has assumed the presidency of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) from January 1 and will preside over the organization throughout 2019.
Resolution of protracted conflicts and their prevention in the OSCE space are the top priorities of the Slovak 2019 OSCE Presidency. Presidency of the organization is held for a year and is based on a rotation.
By previous reports, Slovakia intends to take an active part in the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict during its OSCE presidency.
