"We do not want PACE to be used as a tool in the hands of those who think about war, not peace," Samad Seyidov, head of the Azerbaijani delegation in PACE, said, speaking at the spring session of the organization, Report's French bureau informs.
"It is time to define the priorities of the Council of Europe and our activities. We should not confine ourselves only to discussions but rather support the countries. PACE should not be used for other purposes. My Armenian colleagues are trying to use PACE as a tool for their political goals. We should seek to produce a result. We are working for peace while the Armenian delegation in PACE is showing revanchist behavior. We must change this mentality," he said.
