OIC delegation visits Alleys of Honor and Martyrs

The delegation of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva honored the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan, in the Alley of Honor on September 2.

Report informs that the members of the delegation laid a wreath in front of the Great Leader's monument.

Academician Zarifa Aliyeva's memory was also honored and flowers were laid on her grave.

The delegation then visited the Alley of Martyrs and commemorated the martyrs who died for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.
