New French ambassador to Azerbaijan arrives in Baku

New Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan Zacharie Gross has arrived in Baku.

French bureau of Report informs that Gross will assume his duties after handing credentials to the President of Azerbaijan.

Notably, before this appointment, Zacharie Gross has served as Deputy Director for Defense Policy at the French Ministry of Defense and head of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, French ministry of foreign affairs and international development.

Earlier, the French ambassador to Azerbaijan was Aurélia Bouchez.
