Kairat Sarybay: Development of regional routes directly influences global trade

Azerbaijan is the coordinator of the development of transport corridors in the region, CICA Secretary General Kairat Sarybay said at Kazakhstan’s Embassy during a briefing, Report informs.

“It is already obvious that the topic of sustainable interconnectedness has many aspects. We are talking not only about the creation of logistics infrastructure, but also about the development of green transport technologies,” he noted.

He added that Azerbaijan’s role in building regional transport routes influences global trade.

“Not only the logistics of the region, but also global trade will depend on the development of the Caspian transport route,” he concluded.
