The experience of Western intervention in the region is not considered successful, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Azerbaijan, told Report.
According to him, Iran always stands for solving regional issues by taking advantage of the potential of the regional countries: "Western countries will not help in solving regional issues, on the contrary, they will lead to the complication of these issues. Because these countries are mainly trying to ensure their own interests, not the interests of the countries of the region."
The ambassador believes that the countries of the region are capable of solving their own issues: "Iran continues its bilateral and multilateral contacts in this direction."
