Belize ambassador thanks Azerbaijani government

In a recent statement to journalists at the office of the Baku Initiative Group, Carlos Fuller, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Belize to the United Nations, emphasized that upholding human rights and respecting the territorial integrity of nations are the top priorities in Belize's foreign policy.

Ambassador Fuller highlighted Belize's own struggle for representation in the UN, which spanned decades. Having achieved this milestone, Belize now seeks to support other nations facing the challenges of colonialism. "The people of Bonaire need to be heard. They are actively engaging with UN representatives in New York and fighting for their rights," he stated.

Expressing his gratitude, Ambassador Fuller added, "I thank the government of Azerbaijan and the Baku Initiative Group for providing this platform."
