Azerbaijani MP elected as PACE vice-president

An Azerbaijani MP has been elected vice-president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), the French bureau of Report informs.
As part of the PACE winter session that began on January 22 in Strasbourg, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to this structure, Samad Seyidov, was elected vice-president.
In PACE, vice-presidents are elected annually on the first day of the session, and currently their number is nine. Vice-presidents remain in office until the next session.
