There is a historic opportunity to end the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, according to a letter addressed by the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to the participants of the 11th Global Baku Forum themed “Fixing a Fractured World," according to Report.
There is now a historic opportunity to end the conflict with Armenia, he said, adding that it would be gratifying to see a peace agreement signed in November of this year.
He noted that relations between Azerbaijan and the UK are developing and added that the UK will be with Azerbaijan at COP29.
Rishi Sunak's letter was read out by Fergus Auld, the British ambassador to Azerbaijan.
