Astana takes Azerbaijani national footballer to Champions League game

Baku. 16 July.  REPORT.AZ/ The squad of Kazak’s "Astana" for the return game of I qualifying round of UEFA Champions League to be held in Montenegro against Sutjeska has been determined.

Report informs, head coach Roman Hryhorchuk decided to take 22 players to Nikšić. Richard Almeida, the half back of the Azerbaijani national team is also among them. Almeida was not included to the application form of the first game, which Astana won with 1:0 score.

Pedro Enrique, a former footballer of Qarabag, leased from Greece PAOK, will not attend the return match. The reason is Brazilian midfielder’s late order to the squad. He can only be ordered for the next stage.

Notably, Sutjeska – Astana match to be held in Gradski stadium on July 18, will start at 22:00 Baku time.
