In January-September 2024, revenues from the non-oil and gas sector to Azerbaijan's state budget amounted to nearly 14.53 billion manats ($8.55 billion), Report informs, citing the Ministry of Finance.
According to the ministry, this is 1.6% less than forecasted, meanwhile 10.07% more compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the share of the oil and gas sector in budget revenues was 52.4%.
Some 57.9% of the sector's revenues, or 8.41 billion manats ($4.94 billion), are tax revenues; 33.9%, or 4.93 billion manats ($2.9 billion), are customs duties and import tax revenues; 2.9%, or 419.7 million manats ($246.88 million), are revenues from paid services of budget organizations; 1.7%, or 250 million manats ($147.06 million), are revenues from the profits of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan; 3.4%, or 491.6 million manats ($289.18 million), are other revenues; and 0.2%, or 28.3 million manats ($16.64 million), are revenues from the lease of state property.
