Japan launches first crypto-currency fund

Baku. 12 January. REPORT.AZ/ Japanese financial information provider Fisco will launch a crypto-currency fund worth more than 300 million yen ($ 2.7 mln) to invest in Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies, Report informs citing the Novator.io.
Tokyo research and information holding, covering stocks, foreign exchanges, bonds and commodities in Japan and beyond, intends to open an investment fund specifically for crypto-currencies. According to the Nikkei report, Fisco will invest its own money, in addition to raising capital from two other unnamed publicly listed FinTech companies.
In addition, the fund will also seek to profit from arbitrage opportunities, by studying the price differential between domestic and foreign exchanges.
