Finance minister instructs structural divisions over inflation

"The major goals of the consistent comprehensive measures currently being taken are to reduce the pressure of world food prices on the domestic consumer market, maintain real incomes and purchasing power of the population, and stimulate domestic production," Minister Samir Sharifov told a board meeting.

Noting that a flexible and comprehensive anti-inflationary program will allow controlling inflationary factors in the short term, the minister instructed the relevant structural units to fulfill the tasks assigned to the Finance Ministry in this direction.
