FIMSA: Open currency position of banks will be over 3%

Baku. 16 march. REPORT.AZ/ Open currency position for banks operating in Azerbaijan will not be fixed under 3%.
The chief of prudential policy and methodology department of Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA) Rustam Tahirov told Report.
According to him, FIMSA currently talks over this issue with commercial banks: “We hold active talks with banks and let me say that this figure will be higher than 3%”.
Notably, current limit is 10%.
