CBA targets 4% inflation rate next year

Baku. 28 December. REPORT.AZ/ Ensuring stable and low inflation in 2019 and mid-term period has been set as the main goal of the monetary and credit policy of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
CBA vowed in a statement that it will contribute to social well-being, economic growth and employment indirectly by continuing stable monetary and exchange rate policy.
"Ensuring steady prices within the CBA's remit by curbing inflation at 4% (± 2%) will be the ultimate goal of the bank's monetary and credit policy next year," the bank said.
