Azerbaijan sees 59% growth in positive balance from foreign trade

Baku. 17 January. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan carried out trade operations worth $30,924,000,000 in 2018, up 37% from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Customs Committee (SCC).
In the reporting period, import operations amounted to $11,465,000,000, export operations to $19,459,000,000, relevantly up 31% and 41% compared to a year earlier. Consequently, the positive balance made up $7,994,000,000, up 59% in comparison to 2017.
